What a wonderful day we had at our 2025 Spring Plant Sale! Hosted on April 12th at the Elmvale Arena parking lot, this year’s event brought together local gardeners, families, and community members in celebration of spring and green living.
🌼 Sale Highlights:
- Hundreds of Plants Sold: From native pollinator plants to veggie seedlings, our tables were full—and emptied fast!
- Member-Grown Plants: Many plants were propagated and nurtured by EDGE members in their own gardens.
- Master Gardeners on Hand: Shoppers got expert advice on everything from soil amendments to garden layout.
🎉 Family Fun:
- Children’s Planting Table: Kids got to plant sunflower seeds in biodegradable pots to take home and watch grow.
- Raffle Prizes: Lucky winners went home with beautiful garden gift baskets, a handcrafted birdhouse, and local nursery gift cards.
💚 Where Proceeds Go:
Thanks to your support, we raised over $2,400, which will go directly toward:
- Community beautification projects in Elmvale
- Student bursaries for youth pursuing environmental or horticultural studies
- Educational workshops and public speakers
